Making Tax Digital Full-Service Package

Making Tax Digital · Full-service package

MTD-ready in a week, not a panic in March.

From April 2026, anyone with rental or self-employment income above £50,000 has to keep digital records and file quarterly. Our MTD package handles the lot – software, quarterly submissions, year-end final declaration, and someone you can actually call when something does not add up.

Everything MTD requires, in one fixed fee

MTD for income tax isn’t optional and it isn’t going away. The April 2026 deadline applies to landlords and sole traders earning over 50,000 pounds; April 2027 brings in the 30,000 threshold. The choice you have is whether to scramble in March or set it up properly now.

Our full-service MTD package includes the software (Xero (we will help you migrate from another platform if needed)), the quarterly filings to HMRC, the year-end final declaration, and ongoing bookkeeping support so you’re never the one squinting at receipts. One fixed monthly fee, no surprises.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I really have to do MTD?
If you are a sole trader or landlord with combined income above 50,000 pounds (April 2026), 30,000 (April 2027) or 20,000 (April 2028), yes. Below those thresholds you stay on annual self-assessment for now.
What software do I need?
A piece of MTD-compatible software like FreeAgent, Xero. Spreadsheets only work via “bridging software” and we do not recommend going that route long-term. The package includes a software licence.
Will I really have to file 5 times a year?
Yes, 4 quarterly updates plus 1 annual final declaration. We do the filings; you just upload your bank feed and receipts.
I have rental income AND self-employment income, what then?
You file separate quarterly updates for each income source, but it is the same software and same workflow. Our package covers up to two income sources.
Can I sign up just for the quarter coming up?
Yes, but we recommend signing up at least one full quarter before your first MTD obligation so we have time to set you up properly and clean up any prior bookkeeping.
