HMRC Extends Self-Assessment Filing Deadline

HMRC has today recognised the additional work and pressures on the Accounting and Tax profession caused by the pandemic.

Today, 6th January 2002, they announced an effective extension of the usual 31st January deadline by one month.

If we have already received your records and not yet prepared your return, we apologise that we may be later this year than we would wish.

For those clients who have not yet provided their records or replied to queries, please make your best endeavours to do so. We will do our best to support you, but we cannot guarantee to file sooner than one month from receiving all of your information.
